The next GG PTA General Membership Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 29th at 3:30 pm and will be held at Green Gables.  We will be approving the PTA's budget for next year. This is a good forum to let your ideas be heard.

Fundraising
In this environment of school budget cuts, financial contributions from the PTA provide a much-needed boost to school programs.  Last year, PTA donated over $10,000 to purchase needed document reader/projectors, and library books.  These financial gifts are in addition to approximately $40,000 the PTA provided in programs to Green Gables!

Golden Acorn Nominations - If you know someone who has exhibited exemplary service and volunteering at Green Gables and/or in the community, this is your chance to nominate them to be recognized with the Golden Acorn Award.  Complete the form below and return it to the PTA room by May 15th.

Quilt Raffle - Buy your raffle tickets at $1 each for your chance to win the beautiful one-of-a-kind quilt created by the students and staff of Green Gables.  The more tickets you purchase, the better your chances of winning.  Ask friends and family members if they would like to purchase a few tickets.  For more information, click the link below.

Carnival - June 6th   Come join the fun at the annual carnival.  There will be games, inflatables, cake walk, pizza, and more!  Parents, we need MANY volunteers to make this event a success.  Please consider signing up for a short shift to help out.  Hope to see everyone there!

Fifth grade celebration - June 10th  6:30 - 8:30   All 5th grade students and their families are invited to the Fifth Grade Celebration!  This annual event is an opportunity for the entire 5th grade class and staff to come together to celebrate their time at Green Gables.  We hope to see you there!
