Legislative Update from WA State PTA
Washington State PTA has published
a flyer detailing their advocacy for children and
what was accomplished
during legislative session last year and what the
WA State PTA's legislative focus is for

Fundraising
In this environment of school budget
cuts, financial contributions from the PTA provide a
much-needed boost
to school programs. Last year, PTA donated
over $4,500 to support math and after-school programs
to assist children in meeting academic standards, over $14,000 to purchase
the climbing wall, document readers and
library books. These financial gifts are in addition to
approximately $30,000 the PTA provided in programs to Green
Gables!
