Fundraising
In this environment of school budget
cuts, financial contributions from the PTA provide a
much-needed boost
to school programs. In past years, PTA has donated
over thousands of dollars to support math and after-school programs
to assist children in meeting academic standards,
and over $14,000 to purchase
the climbing wall, document readers and
library books. These financial gifts are in addition to
approximately $30,000 the PTA provided in programs to Green
Gables!

We are recruiting for next year's

Current Happenings
Carnival
June 4th 6-9
Don’t be the only one missing out on what will
most likely go down in Gecko history as the most
awesome, most fantastic school carnival ever! There is
going to be popcorn, cotton candy, fair prizes, music
and more. With the purchase of a bracelet you’ll have
unlimited access to all five Bouncies. For 4 to10
tickets you’ll be able to fish for stuffed animals, kick
a goal to win a ball, get colored hair pieces, tattoos,
balloon art, face painting, or even win a cake. The
night is promised to be the most fun ever! Parents, your
kids have worked hard this year, they deserve a night of
fun.
Please sign up to volunteer for an hour at the
event. Your kids
will appreciate it and so will others. If you can help
with time or donate a cake, cookies, or cupcakes please
